Penn has the sickest old school type uniforms. We always got complements on our uniforms. They bleed tradition unlike other schools that take on the generic Nike/Adidas uniform and adding their school colors. |

yea to some people a lot of these uni's are ugly, but a lot of them are traditional and unique, compared to a lot of colleges which have identical uniforms just with different colors and logos |

Stripes don't make a Singlet ugly. They make it unique. As was previously mentioned, it probably means a lot more than every other Nike or adidas catalog replica that you can buy online. |

What the heck is it with people from the pacific northwest and ugly uniforms? Oregon always has absurdly ugly uniforms, especially in football. And the Seattle Seahawks ditched the previously worst uniforms in all of sports, only to come up with something even uglier! Are you people color-blind or what? |

I'm partial to the Cornell uniforms, which have a sash across the "C" for those who've scored in major competitions: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/158/419710794_74adc1f43d.jpg But then, I'm partial to Cornell, period. If anything, though, I preferred the old-style top, on which the sash went from shoulder to hip, sort of similar to the old-time USA Olympic singlets. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/gallery/featured/GAL1142117/1/index.htm Georgetown's old uniforms (think Steve Stageberg) had a similar style, but everybody's singlet had the sash; at Cornell, you have to *earn* yours... |

Totally agree, but whether the stripes lend a unique/bad-ass feel or are simply a "cry for help" is really case by case. UPenn's singlets are sick. North Central's...em..well.... That said, I would much rather run in something that looks aweful than in something generic. |
