I will go out on a limb with a WR 2:03:45
I will go out on a limb with a WR 2:03:45
From the news I've heard of his life out side running, I'll say he is around 2:08 or slower. I don't see Wanjiru staying as good as he has been.
2:05:23...2nd place.
2:03:39
2:04:57
2:05 something maybe course record
Depends on the wind. > 10mph, 2:07:00, 2nd or 3rd place. < 10 mph, 2:05:15, win.
2:05:10
so the wind will make a difference in his overall placing?

He will push the pace hard, go out just under 62 and come in at 64 for a low 2:06, but will still win because everyone else will die harder. If it wasn't a WR attempt, I think it would take a low 2:05 to win. But everyone will flame out on the early pace.
2:04:25
2:05:47 assuming the winds don't pick up morethan expected. He should still get the win by 30 sec or so.
204:42. beats the nuichs course record.
If by news you meen him pulling a gun on some others after a drunken tirade at a bar, I don't think he will have any issues.Ill go with 2:04:12

1:59:59. You heard it here first.
factoring the weather, wind, and flight fatigue - 2:05:56
Exactly!
Almost identical weather (a tad warmer) than in 99 for KK WR and in 02 for Paula's (far windier in 02 than they will likely face this year). He will go 2:03:51, with two other below 2:05. Mikitenko goes 2:19.
I predict a somewhat disappointing 2:04:55.
Twelves seconds faster than the guy who finishes second.
Geb's prophecy will be fulfilled. I predict Wanjiru runs 2:02 and sends letsrun into an immediate frenzy
