I'm running 19:25 right now midway through my freshman year in high school. What kind of colleges am I on track for? I was thinking D3, some D2, and maybe NAIA. That's fine with me.

You shouldn't run in college if that is your 5k time. Face it. Collegiate running is not for everyone. (This is assuming you are male.)
I'm a freshman douchebag

And I'm a senior in college douche bag. Better start running faster. I think that time sucks whatever age you are. Quit worrying about running in college when you can't break into 16 minutes for a 5k. You obviously have other things to worry about.
And go rinse your mouth with soap, child.
Ok so you broke 16 minutes your freshman year. Alright Pre.
i was a low 16 5k senior year and i walked on to a D1 program...my freshmen year i was the same time as you were... anybody can run in college if they try and have the desire and passion, so Charlie be alittle nicer cause my first 5k was 28 minutes

No. I was in the high 17's and low 18's though. But I wasn't worry about trying to run in college until I could run the times to. You are 3 years away until you need to think about it. A LOT can happen in 3 year, bud.
exactly. I didn't say I planned on running at Oregon or getting a full ride. I'm going to be in the 18's by the end of this season. With only 2 years of Cross under my belt.

People like you should not run D1. That is why our sport is on the chopping block when it comes to school's and their budgets.
keep working at it kid, you never know what can happen, just dont get too cocky and keep you sight on your goals
I ran mid-19's as a HS junior (my first year running) and ran for a d-III college. That was where I wanted to go for school, it wasn't just for running. I eventually ran mid-15's (5-K) and low 32's (10-K). I didn't have a lot of talent, but worked hard and won a few small XC races as a college Junior and Senior. Point being that if you are only a freshman just keep working hard and improving and don't limit yourself now you have no idea how good you can really be yet.

lol charlie yea my times are a hell of alot better than high school so trust me ass would have been cut if i didnt run faster in college, its called giving people a chance
That's not was athletic directors say when they cut men's track/cc from the school.
and by 28 minutes, i was an 8th grader adn low 16's can get you into alot of D1 programs
give me one article, video or quote that any athletic director has said that, cause thats just a poor excuse for people to cut programs.
I said thats not what they say. And I agree, thats not a good excuse. But that is what they do. When a team can't compete in the conference/division/region they are going to slice it when they are low on money. Track/CC brings in no profit, so they cut it before most other sports. That is the trend these days. Like it or not, I am just stating facts.
I don't think charming Charlie is very charming at all
Yo Charlie, quit sucking your own dick and quit being such an asshole. You should prob concentrate on breaking 30min for your community college 8K.
Times in cross dont matter a whole lot, more performances at big meets/state meets. Track is where time matters.
