The Mizuno Musha is the best flat out there in my opinion. The heel to forefoot ratio is less than all the shoes other companies have out there. They also have a really wide toe box, which is the other just as important part of wearing minimalistic shoes.

I doubt that any one manufacturer is de facto better than all the rest. They all make all kinds of shoes, trainers, flats, spikes, etc. more or less the same.
After the Lunar Trainer, I have lost all faith in NIKE. What in the world were they thinking when they made that thing? Then again what was I thinking...

I think you would better to not think of it in terms of "faith". The more people who view such a mundane subject as "religion", the more misinformation adn bickering we end up with on the boards. Every company out there makes shoes that you will hate. Most of them make shoes that you will love. The key is trying them on.
Some people love the Lunar Trainer. It works for them. Clearly it doesn't work for you. Nike has many other shoes.
wtf is wrong with the lunar trainer? wtf does that have to do with a racing flat.
Brooks T5 is sweet!
