How do you do it? Dirt never seemed to stick to the upper part of my spikes for long, but now that I have the Nike Zoom Forever XC 2s it won't come off (I'm pretty sure it's the drainage holes). Any strategies? Do I need a tool? What?

Put them in the washing machine.
I thought about washing them but wouldn't that cause damage?
