Maybe he was referring to their use of high altitude tents, alter-g treadmills, and the somehow contagious hypothyroidism that has been treated with medicine.
These are well known facts that do seem to resemble the Russian's training more than Rocky's.
How many of Salazar's athletes have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism? I thought it was just Rupp and Goucher.
And I wonder how common is it in the general population?
I would think that if most of his runners were being treated for this there would be some sort of scrutiny by the IAAF.
I think it's great and should be applauded. Of course, one can be monastic yet have better taste in movies, but the desire to be great and to do what it takes in terms of training is entirely commendable.
I thought he liked the new team concept with others around him... as opposed to going it alone with Hudson?
