I know most guys on letsrun.com dislike Geb, but this race could mute them.
The fastest vs. the 2nd fastest Marathon runner in history against each other, IMHO this is THE Marathon lineup of the year.
How will it unfold? Berlin has had quality rabbits thru the last years and I expect that to be the same this year. I am pretty sure that a km 35 we will see both guys still together. What then? Will it become a tactical race? Or is Haile like "whatevers" and goes for the WR while risiking to lose because he knows that age is working against him and this might be one of his last attempts?
Or will Geb and Kibet work together and sprint it out on the last k?
I see an advantage here for Kibet since he has less pressure and can just "react".
