I am wondering if there is a website much like
used to be for collegiate race results. They had an awesome index page which made it very easy to check up on results. Is there a website that does this?
Thanks -

Sadly no. There are a few that say they are... but so for nothing compares.
You can check out http://www.prtrack.net .

No, it doesn't compare to TrackShark and probably nothing ever will. But atleast it gives centralized results again.
You have to keep in mind, TrackShark has been around for years. It already started as, if I remember correclty, MAAC Shark, where it reported results from just one conference. It grew to be the TrackShark we all know ever lots and lots of experience. It will probably take these new sites the same growing pains. pr isn't track shark but I would say it is a good site for getting results.
Still... doesn't compare.

I think
http://www.ustfccca.org/weekly-resultshas been doing a great job of giving centralized results.

it doesn't even send you to actual results.. just to school websites. lame.[quote]polevaultpower wrote:
Yes, both give good centralized results, but prtrack links you directly to the results and homepage. Ustfccca links you to the hompage only and then you have to find the results yourself.
What I was trying to say is I think right now, your holding your standards too high for the sites. The site did give what the original poster asked for, which was an index of results. I think one of these will be as good as track shark over time.
What you don't understand is that Trackshark had many contributors and even more so when it was sold to Wasserman. It's much easier to provide results weeks, months in advance if you have volunteers or contributors assisting with a project like that.
It would be helpful if instead of commenting on the work people do, try to help resolve the issue you might have with the results section.
Better yet, offer your services to track down results from meets across the country. I'd be more than willing to have people send results/schedules. Unfortunately there isnt enough time with the rankings that the USTFCCCA puts out between Monday and Wednesday.
50 regional polls and 6 national polls all arriving just about the same time each week with a turn around of just a few short hours.
Who do you guys do the polls?
