I plan on applying to go back to a university to earn my associates degree next year. since i've graduated 4 years ago, i've bounced from job to job and my college grades were not very good.
I have to write an essay and the college will look at my past college grades and resume before admitting me. will my job bouncing and past college grades (B's, Mostly C's and some D's) hurt me? Will it also hurt that I bounced from job to job or could I argue that I want to further my education in a different field so i can eventually work a steady job.
Any advice? I'm applying early bc the school (begins in Sept 2010) only admits a limited number of people to their annual program. My colleague was accepted to this program and has only worked as a receptionist with a high school diploma, so maybe that will give me a better shot at being accepted?
