Thats like saying Nenow > Wejo. Anyone who really knows the sport already knows this.
most of the guys on the UoO team can't spell "Adams State", so they won't let them run
jesus another one of these?
If you want to run D-I then go to a D-I school. There is nothing unfair about this.

No, YOU are a loser and a chicken shit. Face it. No team should duck other teams, ever.
Oregon trying to save their reputation by avoiding competing against Adams State is embarassing. Next some thug on the football team might get suspended for the season. What? You're kidding?

Yes, typically you will find that the Division 1 defending national champions are scared of any competition from an intimidating source like a Division 2 "powerhouse." LoL!
AANNNDDD! Let's not forget that Adams State beat Arkansas at Arkansas during their heyday(despite the fact that I can't find this result anywhere and I have all the meet results from this time), thus cementing themselves as the greatest distance program of the 80's, 90's, and new millenium. I'm tired.

You might think that's funny, but just a few years ago when Colorado won the national title, Adams State actually beat CU at the Rocky Mountain Shootout (an early season home meet for CU). I doubt Adams would have been able to win D1 nationals, but the "style" of training is slightly different at Adams than at CU (and perhaps Oregon, I don't know much about their peaking or training), and CU's big aerobic work in the early season meant they weren't as race fit.
So just fyi, a D2 team HAS beaten a D1 national champ in the season they won the national championships.
So no team should ever duck another team period? No team? Well I assume that goes for runners...Can we then say no runners should duck another runner period? Well I think I'll go jump in the local HS XC meet win by probably 2-min and claim I was trying to be brave by not ducking these kids!
One thing I've never figured out is why a 16-min and quite a few 17-min 5ks will win most XC meets in CO? I run low 15's and Still would never make it out or resionals in my home state.
And a NAIA champion team has beaten a NCAA I champion team

Actually, he specifically said "the Division 1 DEFENDING national champions," not the EVENTUAL national champions. Apparently the reading comprehension level is a bit lower at Division 2 schools, along with their inept ability to properly utilize the LetsRun message board syntax for quotes!
adams state not competing at the dellinger meet has nothing to do with lananna and powell being afraid to run against them. the truth is that, dellinger is a division I meet designed to give division I teams a chance to compete in a pre-nationals quality race and earn points to qualify for nationals, and not about how a DII team can stack up against quality DI programs. Secondly, it is not wise for the coaches to let adams state compete because, although i dont think they could beat oregon, they very well could beat some of the other teams in the race and thus make those other DI teams less likely to want to come back to the dellinger meet in the future. The meet is simply not intended for a team like adams state, and no one gains anything from them being there.
Check the rosters of whom CU ran in the meet. I'm guessing they held out many of their top seven.

Is your home state at sea level? Not much good coaching in Colorado, either.

Actually, I go to CU. I know what the OP said. However, I figured beating eventual national champions is in fact more impressive than beating defending national champions, so I didn't think I needed to clarify.
Critical thinking is apparently very difficult for people who insult reading comprehension on message boards!

However, I would be glad to refer you to a top-notch Pac 10 computer guru, since it's still far above your intellect to find the right syntax for message board quotes!
