Ok. Here's the scenerio. I'm in about 16:20 shape. My opponent is in like 15:30 shape. We have a 5k cross country race coming up soon. I know I'm not going to beat him. But I thought it might be a little fun to take the lead at the beginning and just hold the lead as long as possible. I'm talking about giving it all I got to stay in the lead, sprinting in the middle of the race if I have too.
Good idea? I'm not worried about other people beating me in this race because its low-key.
