Do the different colors for top five American 5,000 marks delineate the American-borns and the non-American-borns? That's what it looks like, and if so, I think that's really uncalled for. The header says All-Time USA List, and that is what the list is. Leave the "is he really American?" business to the talkers in the message boards, please.
People can take pride in the fact that the top three are Midwestern boys, born and bred, or they can take pride in the fact that Lagat and Maree liked this country enough to become citizens. But lets not start with apartheid all-time lists.
