"you get the f... out or I'll throw you out the window"
This guy is a real hot-head, but refreshing nonetheless.
I remember the time during a hearing on "abstinence promotion" he referred to J.C. Watts, as "the current Republican Conference Chairman, whose children were all born out of wedlock."
He's nuts, but needed.
Gee, nice neutral website you hooked up there.
That "Jan" character was far more obnoxious than Stark.
The website certainly has a viewpoint. The video stands on its own. If you think Pete came off better than Jan, you're either blind, stupid, or a syncophant.
Why can't I be all three?
That's good, so I apologize for my stridency.

Jan, the one who was doing the interview and would actually let the interviewee talk?
The guy who had take 1 or 2 economic classes at the University of Puerto Rico asking completely ignorant questions about economics?
This is the problem with our country: plain ignornace.
It's not simply that Jan isn't educated - but more that its pretty clear from the interview that he has no interest in learning about economics and no real interest in trying to understand what Stark is trying to say (even if Stark maybe wrong.) He makes no attempt to actually listen to Stark, and asks no deeper or probing questions.
You get the same thing when you hear a debate about health care, or education, or the military, or finance, or drug policy or whatever it is. You have a bunch of people - most of whom have no experience in the area, no real study of the area, and who are out for "gotcha" questions..."did you hear what sen. so-and-so said? that debt is a sign of wealth? what an IDIOT!"
National economies, delivery of health care, modern warfare, etc are all extremely complex issues. And even people who know a lot about it have differing ideas. The difference is that people who actually know something won't try and belittle those who they disagree and will take the time to investigate claims of the other without shouting at them or trying to bully them.
Barney Frank said it best: "Trying to argue with you is like trying to have a conversation with a dinner table."
