Month after WC. No WC or Olympics next year?
Will these two be able to break 13 again in 2011 and 2012?
Take away the expectations and stress to run great times when it doesn't matter and americans run fast.
Big Whoopdie Doo doo.

Best PERFORMANCES tend to happen at WC or OG.
Best TIMES tend to happen afterwards as a result of the WC or OG.
Running sub 13:00 don't mean nuttin at the WC or OG in such tactical races.
I believe Kennedy's AR also came after the OG.

I don't think there really is a "worst time to break 13 minutes in the 5K." Is it ever a bad thing to break 13?

Esp if you are referring to Ritz and Teg, who are now the 1st and 3rd fastest Americans at that distance.
Also, as a coach, its nice to have guys like this, so i can relate it to the kids. A fast 5k gets everyone attention. Harder to use 10k/Marathon right now becuase they are only in high school.
