Has anyone had success with this shoe? I know it's often advertised as a 10k shoe but as we know most shoes cater to the heavier population in our country. I like Nike shoes but think the Zoom Marathoner is a bit too heavy. Any alternatives? Thanks

I have run a half marathon in them. A few halfs actually. And by mile 11, I feel every step. No way I could do 26mi in them. I race marathons in the saucony fastwitch. They are pretty light and yet can handle the distance.
I've worn light shoes for Marathon before and it was an awful idea. Ruined my race between all the blisters and foot troubles it gave me. I'd say go for support when in doubt for the marathon, it's a lot different than other races you may be used to.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
