they need to go back to letting them cut in at 300m like they did in the 70's, it will make the 800m more smooth and not all this 1:47 crap
Well, when you have clumsy gorillas like Nick Simmonds in the race, that's what happens. Nick is probably the dirtest runner I have ever come across.
He sure does run like there's a rod up his arse. His leg are always about about 3ft apart when he's in full stride.

Nick is not a dirty runner, he has, as a short guy, learned to defend his space...like all the top runners.
And he should continue to do so, otherwise he'll have no chance to win.
