FOURTH PLACE... WELL DONE!!!
FOURTH PLACE... WELL DONE!!!
Wow....that is crazy good!
Where???? That would be awesome if true. Timing could have been better, but certainly better late than never.
on the other side Bostjan Buc seems to struggle a bit since his buddy Matschiner is facing prison for organising a big doping ring in Europe.
Calling all steeplers?

I suppose he had to beat that guy, or he was going to get a lot of crap about it when he got back to Columbus.

so now we know which three guys (lincoln, fam, huling) will miss the next world championships.
Ferlinghetti
Time to give Gary a little credit instad of always busting his balls. Olinger follows suit, Lincoln returns, and we can have 3 guys in finals at 2011 Worlds and 2012 Games
Had a chance to listen to Gary in Vegas the last couple years at USATF high performance and reminds me of Vigil with mix of science and "tough-guy" attitude you need in the steeplechase inparticular. Anybody who can out yell Brooks Johnson has my respect even if they coach at Ohio State!
I've been thinking the same thing. So the question is: Does Roba Gary wear a Robert Gary suit and moonlight as a coach, or does Robert Gary wear a Roba Gary suit and now race for Ethiopia. Either way, the IAAF probably ain't gonna like this.
Oh, and way to go Dan. You are officially the fastest runner I've ever run with.
I saw this result but had to get back to work before i could comment on it. That's a huge time for him. Good job Huling. It reminds me a lot of Steve Slattery back last year or 07 when he dropped that 8:15 or 16 real late in the season to lead the US times. No one seemed to notice. Americans do put up some fast steeple times now and again, it just never ever seems to be at any championship meets. I wonder why that is.
Fam is the guy who can run 8:17 solo time trial like he did at usa champs
8:14 is decent for a paced major meet in Europe nothing spectacular.
