Did you see the whole video.
The Boise kid put his hands on him first and said something to him. And then turned his back, Moron.
I agree Blount should've kept his cool, but to see everyone falling over themselves as if he pulled a gun, is well, funny.
If you push an opponent after a tough loss, still ramped up from the heat of battle, you had better be ready.
Where Blount comes from, "quick reactionary aggression" is probably a way of life and survival.
Watch the whole video, the kid walks past Blount, gives him a shove and says something. What did he expect?
And sucker punches happen all the time in Hockey.
1) Saw the whole video.
2) What the Boise State kid did was not honorable but not enough to warrant a sucker punch. As far as what he expected, since this kind of thing rarely happens in college football, I'm pretty sure he didn't expect to get sucker punched. Blount SHOULD have a the MOST given the kid a shove back. He did that and maybe he would have had to sit out a game (maybe not even that), but now, it's doubtful he'll play another game. The dude who loses his temper ALWAYS loses. Blount is a loser.
3) I don't give a crap where Blount comes from. He's NOW a PRIVILEGED college football player (well, maybe not anymore), and that kind of thing is seriously bad sportsmanship and just flat out lame. NO excuses about where he comes from. What a BS argument.
4) Sucker punches in hockey do happen, but mostly not, and even when they do happen, fighting is part of the culture, and you had ALWAYS better be prepared for someone to throw a punch at you. This is not part of the culture in football at any level and why it is so much worse (though I will admit that the fighting in hockey is lame; lame tradition).
