Ok guys, I'm in need of some major help. I'm a serious runner, by that I mean I train strictly to race to my best and have a problem that is holding me back in longer distance races.
I'm a above average runner with hopes to run a good debut marathon this fall.
Here is my problem, I don't handle solid food very well before running. For races under 10k I get by ok just drinking fluids. But I'm at lost for what to try in training to see if it works so that I can use it on Half Marathon and Marathon races.
Any help?? (I'm foreced to a gluten-free diet)
What have you heard of runner's that had the same problem as me done to get the right fuel in the system before long races?
