I just watched a recent video of myself running. On my back kick my lower legs kick out and then snap back into normal position when I'm about to land. Is there a reason for this and is there a way to fix it? They never used to do this but after an injury that led to about 2 years off, this seems to have become a normal part of my stride.
Any ideas as to why it started and how to fix it?

Happens to me when I run "easy." Don't know if there is a fix for it. Would like to know if there is, because it does look goofy.
I've seen other folks do it on the bike trail too though, so it seems to be fairly common.
There is no need to fix this.
Really? I would think it leads to an inefficient stride or even potentially injury? What concerns me is that I never used to do this (at least I don't think so)...
