Would it not be awesome to see Wariner or Merritt get the baton w/ 10 meters on Bolt on the anchor leg in London (2012) and see what he could do. 41 second leg?

I can't recall Bolt's exact words and I don't have a link. But I do remember reading something that implied he doesn't like fatigue and fighting through fatigue.
In addition, Bolt is "only" 0.13 better than Michael Johnson in the 200M. Meanwhile, Johnson was considered a very strong 400M runner, which Bolt would likely not be. In other words, I don't think Bolt would run a 400M better than what we've already seen from MJ and others.
Nah I think bolt is capable of splitting 41.9 he can shatter 43.18 in the open with a 42.55 or better. Trust me 19.19.....common and he can still go faster than that so I think he can float a 20.10 the rig a 22.40.

how the h3ll do you, or anybody else know that bolt isnt better than mj in the 400? youve never seen him run one.
the world awaits, while people like you have already doubted him and will soon be considered underestimating antagonistic a$$wh0les
Breathe the43OmiIer breathe don't worry time will tell and all of the doubters will see...let me tell you MJ was and still is one of my favorites but his 400m WR is toast once UB get board with the 1&2.

I agree that he could run a really fast 400 and would love to see him try the 400 sometime in the middle or end of the season (as opposed to pre-season). However, what I don't think he will try is a 100, 200, 400 triple in the same major championship. The 400 meter rounds are most likely too taxing with the other events, although if anyone could pull that triple off, it would be Bolt.
Re: the 4 x 400, I doubt Wariner and Merritt are scared. I think the US would be so far ahead by the last leg that Bolt wouldn't be able to run Merritt down on the anchor. The US could have run a B team in Berlin in the 4 x 400 and easily gotten silver.
