I'm starting back running after a 6 month lay off. I want to build up to consistent 90-100 mile weeks. Granted, I plan on taking my sweet time getting there. I've never had a stress fracture before, but I couldn't handle getting injured again. I see so many people get them.
Would it be a good idea to take a 1200mg Calcium tablet once a day? It comes with 800 I.U. of Vitamin D as well. If nothing else, it wouldn't do any harm, right?
