Rumor has it that Josh MacDougal will be heading to Portland.

The difference is that the original settlers went out there and built things. The modern residents spread bullshit, don't get it done when it matters, and whine excuses.
So they can sit on their butts and watch Californians (read: Rowbury and Willard, not to mention Lagat in Arizona) go for medals. What Ritz just did is based on what he did with Hudson before he got to Oregon. I predict that Ritz' and Webb's future results will be the same as Flanagan's.
agree---pioneers did what they had to do to get 'er done...now if only US runners would stop being so flukey and produce when it's one the line. I do hate how in Worlds OLYs we seem in awe to even be there meanwhile in lesser events we seem to do pretty well timewise
So your saying the reason Ritz just ran 12:56 is the work he did more than two years ago? His injury-free training in Eugene had nothing to do with it? Nor his obvious confidence boost after changing coaches?
nah not saying any of the above just wish US runners would run great at every single competition not a few as we currently do. as for Ritz's training, injuries or anything pertaining to him I have never met the man and doubtful will ever so for me to speculate about him, his training is purely second hand guesswork. That doesn't stop me from being impressed with his NEW AR!
Hall
Whenever German F leaves college he will be in oregon.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
