it will be very intresting to see how the salazar switch plays out. does he give it 100% and at least a year to two or does he get frustrated and head back to reston by 2010. if he stays, i think he can get the AR in the 5k and even lower his mile to 3:45, 1500 to 3:28. if i was salazar i would want to know what his training was the year before the 1:43 and 3:46 and what he has been doing the last few years that seem to keep him sidelined. the article talked about him having achiles issues. wasn't this the same injury he had at UM from racing in his workouts? with the top US guys to train with he should have a lot of fun and maybe that is what he needs in his running right now, some fun.
