I would bring at least 2 people with me, even if they hated running.
All of these guys will be training somewhere around Portland over the next year, and maybe sometimes in other towns in Oregon, but they will all be coached by Alberto Salazar, except for Matt Tegenkamp. However, the point is all of these guys have demonstrated some 10k potential at some point in their careers, even if they'd never ran a 10k on the track.
What a great opportunity it could be for American distance running, the local running community, friendly inter-competition under the same coach, and a way for Nike to help teach people more about distance runners than sprinters through media, commercials, and coverage, if they're capable.
