I'm looking for ideas that aren't the usual suggestions I've gotten: liquor, flasks, money clips, etc. I'm open to any ideas you got. So all you married guys out there - what did you get your boys, and how did they like it?

I got all mine dress watches. Still pretty usual, but more practical than flasks or money clips. Every one of them has said they still use them, and its been 4 years now.

I got married in 2003, so the first part of this might be a bit outdated.
I got each guy a nike gear bag (you know, the cheapy string-strap backpacks). They were pretty new at the time and everyone loved them.
Anyway, I filled the bag with stuff that was personal to each guy. (advil for a guy who was always injured, a suction cup basketball hoop for a guy who swore he was the next 5'10" 140lb. Michael Jordan, stuff like that). I was running low on cash at that point and only spent something like $20 on each of the 6 groomsmen, but they all really liked it, so I guess it worked out.

that's a really cool idea. i'm sure they all liked it becuase you put thought into each person's thing, rather than just getting 6 of the same thing.
what else you guys got?

Yeah, the gift bag, personal swag bag is a cool idea.
I got each guy a leatherman pocketknife with his name engraved on the blade. Not like the multitool, but a leatherman-brand single blade knife. Pretty practical, and durable
Berndawg, if you're reading this, and I know you are: I don't want any gifts next year.
Hot bridesmaids and an open bar. They liked it.
