When we moved to Nashville in 2001, I put them in 2 trash cans at the curb. My wife was amazed - "your boys will want them some day!" I don't think so. A trophy for a 5k win in Park Ridge will not be a relic some day.
Now, when we moved from Nashville back to Chicago/Wheaton, I tossed 3 crates of LP records. I kept the Led Zepplin, Beatles, The Who and Elvis 33 1/3's. My wife, to this day, gives me the stare that I threw her recrods (as well as mine) out. Now, she purchased frames today from amazon to put the remaining LP's on my freshmen son's wall, Seb, at Wheaton college. I don't think "The Song Remains the Same" is going to make his wall from LZ, but he would like Tool, Rage against the machine and a few others. I guess the Beatles will have to do - my guess a great conversation starting point.
