I recently switched over from PBR. I'm really liking it, it's my new favorite "anytime" brew and it's still over 4% abv.

Serious thread?
Never have. That's one marketing decision I don't get. Miller already has Lite, possibly the best-seller in the light beer market. The High Life is, at best, a 2nd-tier domestic (my dad kept it in the fridge, so I've had my share, but it's no better than a Budweiser, and sells worse). Can't figure out what the benefit to Miller brewing is.
I believe it might be the best beer under the Miller name.
I buy it when it goes on sale for $15.99. It's fine, but it's not really any different from the Bud Light I usually drink. I went to a bar last weekend and the bartender told me (before I tried to order anything) "We're out of PBR. Too many hipsters here." Are you a hipster?
Not a hipster, that's why I dropped the PBR habit. Miller also puts out MGD Light. I've never really cared for Bud, Bud Light, Coors Light, or Lite. MHL Light is tasty to me, though.
I am a hipster, and unapologetically enjoy PBR.
I don't enjoy High Life light much, but love Hamms & Old Milwaukee. They're tasty brews in the Miller family you should try.
PBR is absolutely horrible.
Also Miller Light is delicious as well.
It's all about drinking them in mass quantities and how much money you have.
I don't care what it is, just give me a cold beer.

No, probably a hipster doofus.

the fact that this thread exists is the answer to your last question.
Ahhh, many nights of drinking a Red Dog! Man I loved that stuff. It was always a tough battle between Mickey's and Red Dog. Red Dog typically won out as I couldn't afford Mickey's on the college budget. I think RD was $4.99 a six-pack at Kroger...maybe even cheaper??
I think I just talked myself into a good night! Go Red Dog!
Horrible.

It's to capitalize on the people that prefer Miller High Life to any other Miller varieties. What is the downside of brewing it? They also make MGD Light, MGD 64, and Milwaukee's Best Light. And apparently something called Miller Lite Ice (according to Wikipedia), which seems like a contradiction, but whatever.

lite ice= hoarfrost
MGD 64 is retarded. It's 2.4% alcohol or something like that. Just take a regular MGD and dilute it with water and you get the exact same thing. Horrible beer. But it markets.
Is that the one where Miller implemented their innovative triple hop technology?
