My husband runs at lunchtime with a group at the university where he works and is amazed by the number of men he encounters on the run and in the locker-room who shave various body parts, notably chests, underarms, and legs, but also areas that are covered under normal circumstances. Without this devolving into a "gay" discussion, I'm curious where and, more interestingly, why men shave below the neck. (These aren't serious swimmers or people fast enough at their chosen sports to have wind resistance be a factor.)
