i don't quite get those central region rankings, or the way the central teams are ranked in the national poll. yes, wesleyan should be the favorite, as they won last year and return everybody. they also have a guy that steepled 9:17 last spring but didn't run on their cross-country nationals squad. but how is st. olaf behind st. john's and grinnell? ruon and marotz have performed better than anybody on either of those teams, and lambert is pretty comparable to the #1 guys at st. john's and grinnell. yes, both of those teams return a lot of guys, but i don't see how their returning depth makes up for what they sacrifice at the front. hard to see either of those teams cracking top 20 at nationals, whereas i can see wesleyan and st. olaf both in the top 15.
Don't be a tool
can they really take it? I think so.
plausible - i just dont dont see who's going to pick up the slack in olaf's 4/5 spots. nuss? rivers? some standout frosh?
olaf definately has the front runners, but the johnnies are deep and have some surprising talen this year. and augsburg? i wouldn't overlook them either; not as a national contender, but a threat in the conference meet.
SMOKE WEED ALL DAY!!!!!!!!!! DONT GIVE A F**K!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who is the surprising talent at SJU? Besides guys who ran in their top 7 last year. It didn't look like they got any star recruits.
I would say Chris Massey is very capable of being a 4/5 man for any team in the MIAC.

Looks like St Olaf just ran freshmen for the most part. Would've been interesting to see where they would have stacked up with a full squad. Anybody know what the deal was with the SJU Invite getting canceled?
Apparently rain.

There was about 2 1/2 inches of rain in about 45 min and the trails were all underwater and in some areas washed away.
