As I was watching the race unfold, I was utterly amazed by how Kenenissa manages the race pace communicating with even with his rivals and setting up his game along the way.
I truly believe that what brought down Meseret in the two events she failed to win, is her lack of race pace management and her own kick timing in which Kenenissa is an expert.
It's not only this race either. What made this WC race special is that tere was no Sehine and Abdosh was way in the back. Bekele kept working with the Kenyans to set it all up. I am sure his strategy also included winning the race with minimal energy output since he'll be racing for the Jackpot in four days.
Anyone noticed too?
