Is it just an generation thing but I'm in my 50's watching the WC with my family and found those male enhancement commercials very tacky and a bit embarrassing.
All the double entendres (sack full of pride) and the rest of it was just kind of sleazy.
Can't we have simple family oriented programs and commercials anymore?
They know their target audience, that's all there is to it.

yes they were tacky, but it really shows how little the US population doesnt watch track. If they did you would have seen adds from bigger companies so we should be glad that the Extenze steped up to the plate or we wouldnt have seen bubkis on the tube.
That is a very sad stae of affairs.Even sadder is that those commercials are effective with some people.

The ad that killed me while I was watching with my 4 year old daughter was the one where they show a kid in Africa and say "he just watched his two parents killed and now he takes care of his younger siblings..."
So, while I'm trying to explain the relay to a 4 yr old who was extremely excited about everyone running so fast, I see this. Then I get hit with the question "Daddy, who killed that boy's parents?" Talk about killing a happy father-daughter moment. That made watching track really fun.

This is just like when I was watching the women's high jump with my 7 year old daughter and my 80 year old mother and all we saw was Vlassics' VJJ all over the place, my daughter cried and my mother projectile vomited exorcist style all over my brand new high def 42 inch screen. I was flabbergasted by this and than all of the sudden these disgusting male enhancement commercials come on tv and my 82 year old father grew a huge stiffy which caused my cat sitting on his lap to run around in hysterics... a terrible world championships.

DVR is the best thing that ever happened to track & field. I just wait 30-40 min after it starts, then resume playback from the beginning. i haven't 'watched' a commercial in over a year.
I used to date a guy who would swallow 20 before our dates. He still got lots of headaches.
