I'm looking for some compression socks or sleeves to aid in recovery. What do you all recommend? Preferably under $40.
Thanks

have had all sorts of calf issues---mid 40's age wise----do these socks work re:recovery? do you wear them around when not running as well? where do you get them and what are best brands? thanks in advance.
I do not really have significant calf issues. I can get charlie horses if I don't rehydrate with electrolytes well enough. After harder (esp. longer) efforts, I will get twitchiness and can be prone to calf cramping. Ever since I started using OxySox and (now) Zensah sleeves I have not had any of that. I prefer the Zensah sleeves because they can be worn about any time of the year comfortably and with any type of socks, you aren't forced to wear the thick OxySox just to get the compression. I only wear them post-workout, never while running. I have been using the Zensah sleeves for over a year and they show essentially no sign of wear. Got mine at a local running store but forget the price, might have been in the $30-40 range.
