Versus is showing a replay of the 200 final instead of showing the W1500 semis live?
Wow!!!

Ummm... ever heard of the Universal coverage being a lot better?
with a disclaimer saying they are having technical difficulties due to the weather in Berlin
THREE IN THE FINAL!!!!
three Americans in the finals!
three americans through
Wow. Willard and Rowbury both had me scared. Glad they're through.
yeah Willard got lucky..i thought she was gonna get boxed in...and good job to Rowbury, justifying the protest!
I am watching online too but the picture is much better on tv. I still have to mute the tv though when they are on live. They did show the second heat.
Willard was lucky that Spanish girl let her through.

Same here. With 200 to go they were not in good position and it was not very likely both of them make it.
USA 3 Kenya 0
WOW....when is the last time that has happen?
3 in the final!
SO PROUD!

I think Willard jeopardized that by staying inside and Rowbury made the right move, though she almost got tripped up by someone moving out (otherwise she could've won the heat).
Wurth-Thomas left nothing to chance! Awesome & fearless!
CWT made her own fate. She ran the wheels out of everyone and ran a fast time. Let's see what that does to her and the others in her heat come the final.
Willard and Rowbury looked very tentative, and they had themselves in bad position the whole race almost. They'd better be more aggressive than that in the final. I know it was slow, but come on. We saw from the men's final that anyone at that level can kick off a slow pace. Relying too much on your kick will get you left out. Willard gambled and got lucky. I know the inside opens up a lot coming home on the straight (cacho '92 for gold), but still, that's a risky gamble.

Well, that's kind of what I meant. If the Spanish runner does not let Willard pass on the inside, Willard has a problem. You're right with Rowbury because she was not risking to get boxed on the inside.
I have to say the two kenyans ran like school girls who were running track for the 1st time.I think illitracy is working aganist kenyan athletes;they just can't think while running.
