Is he more of an 800/1500 runner, or a 400/800 runner?

isn't pretty obvious?
Since his 1k is worth 332-333 1500, it is tough to say.
He hasn't run the 1500 since 2003 and I don't think he ever gave a crap about it. If he ran it seriously in his prime I think he could have gone 3:31.
eddy, hows that 1500 coming?
hahaha
Putting in the base...I'll be close to 90miles this week, if not more.

I assume you are joking!
By the way how's the sub 4 going?
Brother, you are the most famous 4:18 miler in the world!!
Anybody have a link to his training was on the forum some time ago
eddy, this is definitely your year to get the sub 4. I wish you lots of luck.
800m guys need to be good at every distance.
Even if Borzakovskiy doesn't win the final he is still the best 800 meter runner in the world. It just depends on if Borza had a good training session that year. He is the greatest 800 runner, possibly in history.
IAAF Scoring tables:
45.84 1128 points
1:42.47 1248 points
2:15.5 1173 points
3:35.15 1173 points
3:43.24 1064 points
Borza's website also says he ran relay legs of 44.9 and 44.7 in 2002. Seems like more of a 400-800 guy but would be interesting to see what he could do in the 1500 if he was more into it.
He seems like a 800 specialist period. You can't be one of the best at 800 and suck in the 400 and 1500. He is decent at both. If he concentrated on either he would be world class for sure, but not as good as he is at the 800. Hence the reason he does the 800.
He was the anchor for Russia's 4x4 in the 08 indoor worlds, but we never got to see what he could have done coz one of their earlier guys fell and by the time Borza got it, they were last by a ton.

Funny stuff. Although I do side with Coe who felt Borzakovskiy squandered record potential. He ran 1:42.47 at 20, but for the most part stayed with his sit back and run like hell over the last 200 strategy for years and years. Did get him a Gold in the Olympics though, which Coe and Kipketer couldn't do in the two lapper.
