Early I had a thread on how to dress at an orientation at SA. Well basically I wore my street clothes and I just signed a few papers. The next day I was told to wear khakis and a polo or black shirt, but I wore the black polo to look much nicer. Anyway my manager tells me that there is a certain amount of shoes and inserts and warranty plans (ECP is a nicer way of saying warranties). I didnt really ask him how much I was required to sell but I asked one of my buddies who works here at SA how many I need to sell and he says at least 20 pairs! 15% of my shoe sales need to have ECP plans. I couldnt believe this, That day I only sold 7 shoes, 1 insert and no ECP's.
My point is I really wanna keep my job, and I know some LR's here work at sporting goods or running shoe stores, but how do you do sell shoes? I dont even know how to convince people to buy ECP's. Thank goodness I work part time.
