27:19 Sammy Kitara

Lineth Chepkuri won a close race over 2 other African women in 31:18 or so. All from video stream, sorry about lack of info.
Men's winner is Sammy Kitwara in 27:16 unofficially. Haaroufi and I guess Jeilan for 2nd and 3rd but way behind Kitwara. Maybe around 28minutes. Sometime in the race Abdi was the leading American according to the announcers but they never really showed the US leaders.
what about the Americans? Looks like Carney may have won.
That's the start list
can't find the list.
Kitwara first, Haroufi (mor) 2nd, Jaylen (Eth) 3rd
Womens Linet K (Ken) 1st.

Hey Letsrun - do what you do best - what is this all about?
Sammy Kitwara of Kenya won the AJC Peachtree Road Race on Saturday — though for the first time in the race’s 40-year history, it’ll take 48 hours to make it official.
Kitwara completed the 6.2-mile course in 27:21. It was his Peachtree debut, and his fifth consecutive road race win overall. But an official protest filed by another competitor will delay the official results until Monday. The protest was lodged over sportsmanship on the course, an Atlanta Track Club official said, and does not challenge Kitwara’s victory.
Here is a link to the article. It does say that unofficial results will be posted this afternoon.
