Results are up. Looks like Hartmann had another great race and Kim Smith dominated the women's side. She would have placed 14th in the men's race. http://www.onlineraceresults.com/event/view_event.php?event_id=3731 |

Yeah...that is a crazy fast time for Smith. I am thinking she is going to dominate on the track again this year. I know she wants to medal bad at a world competition...and it looks like she is definitely getting fit enough to be able to do it. |

http://www.runnersweb.com/running/rw_news_frameset.html?http://www.runnersweb.com/running/news_2009/rw_news_20090611_RWire_Steamboat.html "The 2009 Steamboat Classic guaranteed prize money breakdown goes 5-deep ($4000, $2500, $2000, $1500 and $1000) and with bonuses, the total prize purse could exceed $40,000." So no prize money for 15th, unless you are a masters athlete and break the masters record or something like that. |

that is terrible for nate jenkins, 20:16 in a 4 mile race for a pro athlete is embarassing. i really want him to succeed but damn, that's bad |

He is an Fin marathoner. And that's it. Maybe an ultra guy someday. |

The television commentator mentioned him at 2 miles as he was right behind Kim Smith. But she killed him over the last 2 miles. |

Yes it's a bad time for him but at least he has the cojones to race when coming back from an injury knowing that people are watching his every split. |
