Fout is still at Florida State look for big things.
Withrow is turning pro??
Withrow just ran 3:44 or something last weekend. This was after running 3:54 at one of the DIII last chance meets in Illinois.
Withrow is really pumping up and joined the circus.

Matt Withrow was hurt a LOT during his college days, never seemed to be healthy other than his Freshman Cross Country Season. Hopefully Fout will find his niche and put out some rockin times in the years to come.
They are both picking up trash along the highway.
I don't know what happened to Mike Fout since high school.
Matt Withrow ran 13:35 for 5000m and made the mens 4k team for world cross as a freshman at Wisconsin, then spent the rest of college being injured and never returning to the same shape.
A month ago Withrow ran a 1500m in 3:56 and last week he ran another 1500m in 3:46, so he apparently seems to be on the rebound.
Fout just ran a 15:30 5k on the roads at the Sunburst races in South Bend. He said he just wanted to get out and run fast. I also heard that he went out extremely fast and ran by himself the whole way and slowed the last mile.

He had some injury problems in high school and was never fully healthy this year. He jumped into the Sunburst on a whim with some high school friends and won by 15 seconds. Nice to see him run well in person.
If he stays healthy (always a big "if"), he's got plenty of talent. At Footlocker he won pretty convincingly over Derrick, Fernandez, and Puskedra, who obviously have had some big success in college already.
I honestly had forgotten that Fout was the kid that actually won footlocker that year...and over the "Big 3" too. Wow!!
Yes, Fout had a stress fracture during XC season. He was brought along slowly during the year to allow full recovery and red-shirted outdoor season. I believe he ran about 14:30 at Penn Relays though.
So two months from running 3:26...sweet!
Withrow became inelgible due to grades.

This is true but I think the question is about his lack of notable performances which started long before he became ineligible.
That video made me spit my coca-cola!
Withrow just flunked out of college.

That's pretty good considering Matts not a miler.
