It is indoors... it'd be cool to see Webb take a shot at that...with his great speed at 1500 and 5000 he could possibly contend. Actually I'd like to see quite a few Americans give the indoor worlds a decent shot, at least once in their careers.

These were in reply to the notion that Alan Webb had never arrived in the first place. They were not positing that he had been running particularly well for the last year plus. Perhaps you should read the thread before commenting.

Hey webb needs to move up to the 5Kilo and get away from the mile. he can be great but if he keeps getting the same old thing from the same old coach he will not get better. go work out with somebody else, isnt centro in his area? how could anyone say that he cant get better from going to somebody with the experience and knowledge of centro over the guy he has now?

not many people have. just because webb posted fast times under rackzo doesnt mean that he wouldnt post faster ones under a more experienced, better coach

How does Centro become the better coach if he doesn't have better results than Ratzko? Who is Centro coaching and how are they doing presently? I know he has Gallo, she races this weekend again. Hopefully she can improve on that adidas time. Culley races this weekend too. Is he coaching any guys these days?

I'm not going to argue that I wouldn't like to see another distance race added, or even that the 3k wouldn't be a fun distance. However, if they are going to add a distance, do you think it would make more sense to try and add something between the 10k and the marathon. It's always blown me away that the 10 mile, 20k, half marathon or even 25k have never gotten any international love.
