What happened to her?
She ran last weekend 4:23.55, but I don't see her in the Pac-10 entries.

Pretty skinny...
How can she run "Unattached - Washington"? Look at the results, that's how they show her. This is a blatant NCAA violation. She is either Unattached, or she is running for Washington. Metcalf either doesn't know shi#, or he is flaunting the rules. It wouldn't surprise me if her 4:23 "Unattached - Washington" will cost her a year of eligibility. In one short season at Washington, she has gone backwards so far that I wouldn't be surprised to see her either quit the track team, or transfer to another progarm where they will keep her healthy and keep an eye on that diet.
hey knucklehead, when unattached entries are submitted, many meet managers will group you with the university you attend. she didn't run in a UW uniform and she is listed as unattached. how it is delineated in results is not the issue. as long as the kid paid her own way into the meet and didn't receive travel assistance.
you either don't know your sh*t or are trying to stir up trouble where there is none.
Is there a possibility that she may be the best runner enrolled at Washington never to run an outdoor track race for the Huskies? Running two indoor races in 2010 and not seeing her at all outdoors makes me wonder...
what were her indoor performances? i missed those and also always wondered what happened to her between cross seasons...
done with running.
Transferring. My guess is Illinois of Florida St. where there are less super stars on the team and she can get more attention.
Um those results are from last season
Haha I guess this thread was started last year..didn't see the date from the original post
If what Huge C.S. says is true, I'm tempted to agree that Schaaf is gonna be doing the Seminole chop. The Canadian connection may be what wins the day for the 'Noles if indeed she is out at Washington...but can someone confirm it?
Assuming Schaaf is gone from UW, it sounds like this is another engineered move by her club coach in Canada a la Danette Doetzel (Michigan State to Providence)...but I could be wrong...
Superstars? A couple years ago it looked like Washington had the makings of a great distance program, but that is all history now. I mean look at the recent Pac 10 championship results:
Mel Lawrence finished third, and was fading at the end;
Christine Babcock was nowhere to be found;
K. Follett got beaten in the 1500 by Oregon's Buckman, someone who should never have beaten her;
The girl (one of the sisters, can't rememer the name) in the 5K faded badly and finished well back in the field.
No champions and lots of poor performances. I don't think I missed anything here. Something is up, something is really wrong in Seattle with the distance program.
Meanwhile they just recruited Megan Goethals, Katie Flood, Chloe Curtis and a host of other TOP NOTCHED FEMALE TALENT for their distance program. They will be dominated in Cross Country for years to come.
Do you mean Anita Campbell? The other runner on the team (who broke out last year), Kailey Campbell is not her sister. Just have the same last name.
And they have a MONSTER recruiting class. Megan Goethals, Katie Flood, Chloe Curtis, Megan Morgan, Mackenzie Carter... all at the very top of the country.
...unfortunately (not counting Oregon State), the Huskies were DFL in the Pac-10 meet. Maybe some of that scholarship $ should be spent on other areas besides distance runners...just sayin'
