Did a surgeon recommend something? From what i have seen if the few cases of guys so young with bad hip osteo, they can and may choose to resurface your original instead of giving an artificial ome. If you have an artificial one your running is probably over but you can probably run on a resurface. If you can't run, have you seen the elliptigo? You can find some videos on youtube.
Before going through surgery how about non -invasive therapies? trying reading this article and see if it is helpful. Best of Luck

What is the latest on this diagnosis?
I was told by physio that I have arthrosis of my right hip, and I will need to have an injection of some fluid that will help lubricate the join (as the synovial fluid in my hip join has gone). She said I can continue to run if try to run as much as possible on soft ground.
Maybe PRP (platelet-rich plasma therapy) is the way to go? Anyone had it here?
