I list my IQ on my resume along with the size of my IMMENSE Johnson (and my career objective has nothing to do with sex).

Q: What's the difference between a guy with an IQ of 134 and a guy with an IQ of 145?
A: The 145 guy doesn't call himself a genius.
Absolutely mention it!
Most people here do not understand (perhaps due to their average to low IQs) that IQ is the single best predictor of job performance. Mensa level IQs virtually assures one of having superior intellect and real world problem solving skills. I always go out of my way to hire candidates who fit this mold and have never regretted it.
With that IQ you don't need a resume.
no, that would be stupid
I didn't really get that one. Can you explain it for me?
Now that they say the economy is getting better i need to get a job. Can anyone give me an idea how to improve my chances of getting empolyoment?
I happen to know a guy who coincidentally uses Mensa Guy, or sometimes Moose the Mensa Guy as a moniker. His claim to fame is he failed a Mensa test and broadcast it all over the State of Maine on somebody's radio show. This guy really isn't too swift. You could always do what he did and fake it. That way you can qualify to be a professional message board censor, use all your personal biases to jump on posters and feel like a big man when you delete their posts. That's what this guy did ... it is the apex of his career.
There is no way to hide the fact that you call yourself Mensa Guy because you took the Mensa test on a bet and failed it. Go ahead and just admit you are a professional message board censor, and a biased one at that, and be done with it. If nothing else, you might get a bump in pay from City Data.
You should print your IQ on the tee shirt you will wear to interviews. Classy touch that will WOW!
Only if you won’t get sequestrated because of affirmative action. That is, only mention it if you’re part of a visible minority and you will be applauded for having the confidence to stand up against the practicality nonexistent racial discrimination. If you don’t want to be humiliated, mocked and rejected, do not commit social suicide by listing your proud achievements and inherent qualities as you will be labelled as nothing more than an arrogant, narcissistic bigot who’s full of himself even if none of this is the truth.

I'm in my late-30s and needing employment. Was self-employed but this economy and a recent breach of contract has hit the home finances very hard. I was offered a top-level job while still in college and took it, so I never finished my degree. To compensate I was wondering if mentioning my high IQ OR having it on the resume might be a boost to me.
Any employers out there to give an idea on this. Too much pretense? Arrogance? Your thoughts.
Both, which means: very smart and..very immature attention seeker.
Well, we are down here sir/madame. Don't call us, we will let you know (meaning you didn't get the job)
Next candidate please!

Not only that, job performance isnt strongly correlated to anything. Seriously, countless research projects have shown that picking "the right people" for a job is pretty much chance. (assuming bare qualifications are met).
It's actually kind of funny, all those recruiters, interviewers, and such are empirically worthless and there would be no difference had an employer just screened for bare minimums and picked any mere qualified applicant at random.
Hello! Good thread. As I know there are many modern trends and requirements for resume. Also many depends on vacancy. Try to search some samples or templates. The best way to create resume for my opinion is to order it from professional writers, for example you can check such services here https://edureviewer.com/best-resume-writing-services/
I'm guessing that most of the people who are responding to a decade-old thread are not Mensa material.
[Full disclosure: I used to be in Mensa, until they found I was splitting a membership with a friend.]
Only us liberals should post our IQs. We are far smarter than everyone else from Alec Baldwin to AOC and Maxine Waters.
We get Legions of people to follow us although we could give a rat's ass about you.

Long term experience suggests that people who join Mensa or even mention their IQs are self conscious arrogant jerks unconsciously embarrassed by their inability to actually do anything.
At any rate on a resume it's a huge red flag and the resume goes straight to the trash.
A guy who outs Mensa on his resume will be a huge pain in the ass in the workplace.

The fact that this comes from a reTrumplican doing a piss poor job of trolling is funny.
Party on Wayne.
Things have changed from 12 years ago. Cutting edge is now anti-intelligence.
Tell them you have done research and that climate change is a hoax. The earth is not warming but going through normal cycles. Tell them you get your medical advice from Joe Rogan and you know getting covid is healthier than getting the deadly vaccination. The doctors are paid by big pharma to lie and trick you. Tell them that you have carefully looked into the election and Trump clearly won. You know that dead people won't vote Democrat.
Tell them you don't believe in science or scientists or doctors or researchers or anyone with an advanced education.

Brilliant people aren't successfully sued for breach of contract.
