Ritz has withdrawn
favorites (in no particular order)
Dan Browne
James Carney
Jorge Torres
Tim Nelson
Ed Moran
Anthony Famiglietti
Fasil Bizuneh
Sean Quigley

Fernando Cabada

I'm picking Carney to win, Nelson in second, and Fam third.Anyone know why Ritz withdrew? Injury? Serious?

I gotta go with Torres too. Nelson could play spoiler after his breakthrough at US Cross. Dobson is the wild card.
Carney
Fam
Carlson
Carney
Carlson
Torres
Amy Yoder-Begley.
Desiree Davila over Begley, McGregor, Brown, and Rudolph.
Owen and JSM will win the 3 legged race.
Why are people picking Fam to do so well in a 15K? How'd he do in that cross country 12k at USAs? Okay then.
I want to see Bizuneh pull it off. I think he's a pretty good guy and I'd like to see him win something big. But I think it'll be Torres with Carney coming in second.
Amy Yoder-Begley on the womens side.
fam never runs cross well, he has run 13:11.93 and 27:37.74 though. i don't think hes ready to really rock and roll this spring though, he's thinking base training/volume this year to be used for the next few years.
Dan Browne
Henry Rono has run 13:06(or so) and 27:22 but i dont think he is ready to rock and roll this spring either. What is Fam doin now, what he did a few years ago (minus the steeple) isnt the level he is at now
He's been in Flagstaff training for the past month. That's where he had been prior to his 27:37. Not saying he's in that kind of shape but I would expect a different runner than we saw at US Cross.

Ed Moran, Sean Quigley and Brett Gotcher - 3 guys who don't get a lot of mention - could all play a factor -
Could be 8-10 guys in a serious pack !
Bizuneh!, of course I'm his brother though, so I might be a little biased. Good luck to all that are running.
That's a good call.

I think it's between Carney, Carlson and Torres. Carney is running well lately.
