The Commonwealth spells it "jewellery" and the US spells it "jewelry." The US also got rid of the second "g" in "wagon." What can you say? Countries that speak English differ in their pronunciation and (sometimes) spelling of words.
What I enjoy are the posts that the UK and Ireland folks so often make on the board. Variant spellings aside, on average their spelling and syntax make the Americans look educated (by comparison)--and how often can we say that? Thanks for posting!
PS--Hey, I just realized:
This may be why the BrosJo "accidentally" have so many typos and syntactic errors on the front page. They want their readers to feel superior, and to keep coming back!
