I work for an aircraft supplier and I am being relocated to Wichita, kansas. Is there any good running locations there? What do they do there for entertainment. Also I am single (male), any good clubs?

contact the Wichita TC or the Shocker TC if you are a serious runner. See if Jim Hershberger is out of jail yet and look him up.
Who is Jim Hershberger, was he a good runner. I was hoping to join a track club. My last 10K (December 2008) I ran 31:14, good enough for 3rd place in a Virginia race.
It depends on what exactly you're looking for. You can live downtown for fairly cheap and be right next to the clubs/bars, new arena & bike paths along the river. & still be 10 mins from anything else in town. Or you could live 15 mins from downtown & have direct access to endless dirt roads to run on.
Email me & I can hook you up with some info.

Yeah, if you are up on all the counrty western dances like the 'boot scootin boogie'. Get a big cowboy hat a big buckled belt, some wrangler jeans, and some tony lama boots and you are ready for action!
Let me be the first to say: I'm sorry.
Your best bet for ANYTHING would be either to A) Attempt to enjoy sidewalks... or B) Attempt to enjoy dirt roads that you can see miles down, with hailing winds on a daily basis.
There's not a whole lot going on in Kansas.
exactly!
honestly though, there is plenty of monster truck racing, pro wrestling, cow tipping and such to keep a guy busy in wichita!
one more thing, occasionally me an the wife get a wild hair and go ride up to nebraska to check out cabela's in sidney, ne. i got one of them night vision gadgets last time i was there, good for huntin' bucks at night!
