Should I count the extra miles I put in with my dog and girlfriend? On my non-hardwork out days (tempo, intervals, ect...) I will usually go 10-12miles in the morning at 6:20-6:30 pace. In the afternoon I will take my dog on a 2-3mile run and he can only go 8min pace or I go workout with my girl at the same pace for 3-4miles. Would you count these miles as part of the MPW if you feel like your not getting anything out of it?
