It's right near the achilles, but feels like it's on the outside of the heel almost. It always gets diagnosed as either bursitis or achilles tendonitis, but it's been injured for about 2 months now, and I've only ran about 2 or 3 times in that span just to test it out, but everytime it just hurts like hell.
I've looked online everywhere to try and figure out something else it could be, but to no luck at all. I don't think it's being properly diagnosed, because none of the stuff helps it:
Icing never helps, I wanna say it actually makes it worse.
Heel lift makes it worse (and when I actually had achilles tendonitis on my other achilles, the heel lift helped it a lot which makes me think it's not achilles tendonitis)
Also, when I hold my lower achilles, and rotate my foot back and forth, I feel sort of a creeking feeling in my achilles.
I'm trying all my options here, and was wondering if this sounds ANYTHING like any of you had, and if you have any tips on how to recover from it? Time off isn't even helping it, I didn't run for one month straight (the second month of my time off) and I just did a run today and it hurt just as bad if not worse than it did when I first started to take time off.
This sucks.
