Anyone know what they are?
Do they exist?
I'm talking PB's on the track or road, standard distances like 10k or 5k, maybe 1500 on the track, stuff like that...
Really, I just want to be able to see a 4:50 1500 and laugh...

Dean Karnazes is too hardcore for the track.
Dean Karnazes is too hardcore for anything under 26.2.
Dean Karnazes is a fag.
I saw him bust a 2:46 800m time trial once.
Went out in 1:30, then put the hammer down and closed in 1:16.
It was glorious.
You won't find the results on the internet, but he ran a 32:17 10K a few years back. He has more talent than most people realize.
I bet he can run a sub 16 5k....this 46 yr old guy guy is LOADED with talent....we'll have to see how he improves

He may have more talent than people realize, but no way did he run a 32:17 10k. No way, no way.
But I guess that your posting name of "fraudsrus" makes it clear that you knew that.
He hasn't run a sub-3:00 marathon has he?
And you're saying he ran a 32:17 10K? Sure.
He ran a 3 hour marathon in NYC after 49 straight 26.2 mile days and traveling thousands of miles in a bus. I'm putting him as a 2:30 marathon runner.
Asking for shorter distances probably isn't relevant. It is like asking for our 100 or 200 meter times.

8/10.
I have to say well done, sir, in hijacking this thread with a completely bogus, and un-doable claim for the reviled Dean-O K.

He ran a 2:55 in NY in 2007.
Asking what Dean's PB's are is like asking what the vertical jump of a Harlem Globetrotter compared to an NBA player is. The globetrotters are meant to entertain while NBA players play to win games. Dean runs hundreds of miles to get fat asses off the couch as oppose to winning races.

I think what the Deanster does is fine as far as far as getting the fatties off the couch, what is annoying is all his outrageous claims and the way he pretends to be the world's greatest runner, when in reality he is more like the Richard Simmons of running, not the Kenenisa Bekele.

As if track runners and road racers aren't.
If cross country and trail running aren't your priorities as a runner, then you're nothing more than a skinny little pansie too afraid to truly push your fragile minds and bodies. I always love passing the track weenies who venture into a singletrack race; give them a little nudge and watch them go careening into the brush while screaming like school girls.

Here is what would happen if the IAAF World Cross Country Championships field of wimpy African runners would train seriously for (specificity) and enter your precious little 100-mile trail race, which, by the way, is such a bastardized sideshow of an event no self-respecting track runner would bother wasting their time at annihilating your waddlingly slow field. They would run six miles to your four. When you are staggering into the finish, slurping down your last GU shot, they would have finished, showered, had sex with your mom, broke out the Hibachi and grilled Ahi tuna steaks, and then headed to the airport.
And if you trained for their track events they'd still run six miles to your four.

Great Analogy...thanks...like that!
I am no Ultra runner but always thought I could beat Kean.....I like the shorter distances like 5 and 10 k's (especially trails and XC).....pr's for last year (hurt this yr) for age 45-50.....17:10, 36:10, and 1:21:20....and did one Ultra (approx 32 miles) called the Jays Mountain, VT....finished in the top 25....and 1st for my age group
anyway....can't stand the guy!
Yep, you could beat Kean. You are much better. You can also run a faster 10k based on your 5k, but that's another story. Your 5k is pretty sweet. Pretty boy Kean would have a tough time keeping up/

Thanks for sharing all your results we are very interested.....no, not really.
I just queried the Dean K PRs from my database:
Half marathon 1:25:26
10 miles 64:17
10K 41:08
5K 19:30
mile 5:08.36
1500 4:49.17
Hey, I just ran a 60K and finished in the Top 25...Hell, I finished in the top 20, given there was only 18 runners!
I thought I had read somewhere DK's personal best in a 'thon (ha!) was like 2:40ish.

I think the 41:08 10K is at a slower pace than the longer two.
I can't tell if this poster was serious, probably not.
Definitely not accuarte "PB's"
Look, I really don't like Dean, but asking what his shorter-distance PR's are are about as stupid as asking what Usain Bolt's marathon time would be. Running ultra distances is a completely different arena than shorter distances, and the athletes that excel there have a different set of strengths and weaknesses.
Don't bust the track star's balls for crumbling in the longer stuff, and don't call an ultra runner slow because they can't run fast times for shorter distances. Just enjoy the show!
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
