My mom and dad are rowers so we have an "erg". My dad did 1000m in 3:20 something so of course now I want to show him up. So today I hopped on the machine and did 2500m on setting 1 with 500m splits of about (from memory)2:05,1:58,1:55,1:53,1:45. any good? what are the top guys doing? I am 160lbs and my dad told I would be in the lightweight devision.
Final time 9:38 or so once the clock stopped going. stroke rate was around 30-33/minute, which my dad said was too fast. cooled down with another 1000 in about 3:45.
Aerobically it wasn't too bad but my forearms are toast now, absolute jelly.
